    Prompt Service Available 24/7:

    Emergency Room Services

Our team of ER physicians, nurses and other professionals provides prompt emergency triage and care —- urgent to emergent medical services —- to patients of all ages twenty-four hours a day, seven days each week.

    Industrial / Occupational Medicine Services

Our professional staff offers a full range of Industrial/Occupational Medicine Services. We understand the importance of providing workers the most timely, effective and efficient care so that they may return to work as quickly as possible.

    Triage – Short Wait Times

The order in which our ER team evaluates and treats patients is determined by the severity of their condition, not the order in which they arrive in the emergency department. Thus, patients are not seen on a first come first serve basis in the emergency department. An ER nurse triages each patient to determine the order in which the ER physician will provide them with a medical screening examination. Triage is a sorting process that determines that the sickest patients are seen first by the ER physician. We make every attempt possible to cut the wait time for triage to less than ten minutes and to keep the wait time to see a physician to no more than thirty minutes.

    Paramedic Receiving Facility

As a paramedic receiving facility, our ER team works hand-in-hand with members from LA County Emergency Medical Services to provide care to the Los Angeles community.

    Registration, Treatment & Aftercare

After our ER physician completes the medical screening examination, our ER admitting personnel registers each patient before the treatment process begins. The ER physician may need to contact the patient’s primary care provider during the course of treatment and/or may consult with on-call specialist(s) to determine the best course of treatment. After the patient’s treatment course in the emergency department is completed, the ER team will provide the patient with a print-out in English or Spanish with details of the condition, risks of any treatment provided or prescribed, and aftercare instructions.  In addition, they will answer any patient questions and review the print-out with the patient. After discharging the patient from the ER, the ER team will fax a copy of the patient’s ER records and aftercare instructions to the patient’s primary care physician. If the patient does not have a primary care provider, the ER team will provide the patient with a referral to one of over three hundred physicians on staff at Tri-City Regional Medical Center. In some cases, the patient may have to be admitted and our ER Team will arrange the admission and transfer of care to another member of the Tri-City Regional Medical Center’s medical staff.
