The Bariatric Center of Excellence at Tri-City Regional Medical Center is one of the largest and most experienced surgical weight loss programs in Southern California. Tri-City Regional Medical Center’s bariatric surgeons have been leaders in bariatric surgery for more than 30 years, and have helped more than 20,000 patients who sought to achieve increased wellness through weight loss surgery.

Tri-City Regional Medical Center is proud of its accreditation by The American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery as a Bariatric Surgery Center of Excellence, and by Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield as a Blue Distinction Center for Bariatric Surgery.

We specialize in minimally invasive laparoscopic weight loss procedures, including Laparoscopic Adjustable Gastric Banding (LAP-BAND® and Realize Band® procedures), Laparoscopic Gastric Bypass, Laparoscopic Sleeve Gastrectomy, as well as Incision-less (including the new SPIDER procedure) and Revisional Bariatric Surgery.

We accept most types of insurance, including: Medicare, Anthem/Blue  Cross, United, Aetna, and other PPO insurance, Workers’ Compensation,  as well as cash prices. Free Insurance Verification is available. Our  team of insurance and health plan specialists is experienced in  working with your health plan to obtain approval for your procedure  and overcoming obstacles that can delay the process.
